Zarag is the 2nd episode of the second season of The Dreamstone (and the 15th of the show overall). It first aired in the UK the 29th of January 1992.
Synopsis[]
While on a rather regimented holiday courtesy of Sgt. Blob, Nug accidentally opened a bottle in Viltheed's beach, releasing Zordrak's Sister Zarag, who was shut up for five hundred years for disagreeing with him. Meanwhile Urpgor had invented a hoverbike, so as to travel to the Land Of Dreams and steal The Dreamstone instead of Blob. However by the time he arrived, Zarag had discovered and stole the Dreamstone. The Noops discovered the stone missing and, assuming Zordrak had taken it, when to Viltheed to search for it. From there, they hear Zarag communicating with Zordrak, who attempts to negotiate for the stone, however Zarag is uninterested, wishing to wear it in her hair for grand occasions.
Both sides come to the decision to hold a ball, knowing she is too vain to resist the invitation, at which point they can take the stone from her. However after discovering the Noops' invitations, the Urpneys sabotage the Land Of Dreams' ball, leaving Zarag of the choice of going to Viltheed. Both Urpgor and the Noops (in disguise) compete as dance partners for Zarag's affections, but prove useless, until a mysterious dance partner woos her, taking the stone after she faints. Realizing the stone is gone, both evil siblings are left in a demonic tantrum. Back home, the Noops discover the identity of the mystery dancer...
The Dream Maker - "I just followed as a kind of backup really, in case you didn't manage to get the Dreamstone. And I always did enjoy dancing!"
